Dave's Chimney Sweeping

Dave’s Chimney Sweep founder David has enjoyed the work and took satisfaction in providing a high quality, friendly service to customers.

He now combines his love of the job with his strong work ethic and provides a high-quality service. This was recognised by the ICS Chimney Sweeping Association and in 2015, David became a member and this was the career for him and went on to gain numerous qualifications within the industry.

In 2017, David became a member, Assessor and Trainer at the National Chimney Sweeping Safety Association.

Dave was very informative and spent time discussing things with me in detail. He provided some really useful tips on everything from new heaters, chimneys, chimney caps, cleaning products, log providers and even showed me how to be an expert fire starter. He cleaned the chimney and Stovax for us and didn’t make any mess. The Stovax was gleaming when he left and I feel safe with a clean chimney for another year. We will definitely have Dave back. Not used my fire in some time and it turned out that it needed more than just the chimney swept. Dave came highly recommended and its clear to see why. Dave stopped by and swept the chimney, checked all connections from stove to flue, sealed what needed to be sealed, offered great advice on what needed to be done next and went above and beyond. Absolutely 1st class service, very professional, clean and friendly. Will be sticking to his services from now on. Highly recommended.

Lovely and well informed - I'm not surprised Dave is an instructor in his field - he was very well informed , had all the right information and documents to hand and helped us to understand and rectify some minor issues with our installation . He also did a tidy and thorough sweep of the stove flue. All round a great find - we'd book him again ....wait we don't have to he will contact us ! ( having obviously checked we are ok with that ) Very professional service.
